There is a bus stop at the front of Linley House to take you to the city or to Chatswood, Burwood, North Sydney, Crows Nest, Royal North Shore Hospital.

Driving Directions to Linley House

If you are driving from the city you will drive over Gladesville Bridge and take the Burns Bay Road exit off Victoria Road.  Continue over Figtree Bridge and keep in right lane to turn right at the lights at View St.  Do a U turn and go back along Burns Bay Road – keep to the left and when you see the sign Loop Road slow down as the driveway is at the bus stop just before you go down to the river.  The driveway is cut into the rock face so it is difficult to see.  Turn up the steep driveway and Linley House is at the top of the driveway.  Park in front of the white front door

If you are driving towards the city from Lane Cove along Burns Bay Road you will go past the lights at View St Linley Point and continue along Burns Bay Road until you see the sign Loop Road.  Slow down as the driveway is at the bus stop just before you go down to the river.  The driveway is cut into the rock face so it is difficult to see. Turn up the steep driveway and Linley House is the house at the top of the driveway.  Park at the top of the driveway.

Parking in The Avenue, Linley Point

The driveway is very steep - if you don't wish to come up the driveway you may park in The Avenue in Linley Point as it is quite safe and only a 50 metre walk to Linley House.  To park in The Avenue turn into View St from Burns Bay Road, turn right at top of hill, follow road to the end then turn right and park at the end of The Avenue which is a cul-de-sac.  You can then walk down the stairs to Burns Bay Road, turn right and walk to Linley House.
